The following statement may be attributed to Carbon Capture Coalition Executive Director Jessie Stolark. The Carbon Capture Coalition is a collaboration of companies, labor unions, and environmental policy organizations working together to build broad support for the nationwide deployment of carbon management technologies.

“Today, we are pleased to announce the launch of Carbon Capture Impact (Impact), an allied 501(c)(4) organization of the Carbon Capture Coalition (the Coalition). Working to advance the two organizations’ shared vision for the nationwide deployment of carbon management technologies, Carbon Capture Impact will amplify the voices of its broad, far-reaching network of advocates to enact and implement the supportive portfolio of federal policies needed to catalyze deployment. The Coalition will continue its’ education, convening, and consensus-building activities as a 501(c)(3) organization.

“Guided by the Coalition’s biannual Federal Policy Blueprint, Impact members will set a bold advocacy agenda, engaging with bipartisan lawmakers to advance federal policies needed to accelerate the deployment of carbon management technologies across sectors. Carbon Capture Impact will be governed by a Board of Directors comprised of Impact members representing a cross-section of companies, labor, and policy organizations. The Coalition’s executive director, Jessie Stolark, will similarly serve as the executive director of Carbon Capture Impact, and Madelyn Morrison will duly serve as director of government affairs for Carbon Capture Impact and the Coalition.

“The launch of Carbon Capture Impact builds on more than a decade of foundational work by the diverse, bipartisan community of carbon management advocates convened by the Carbon Capture Coalition, to establish a strong federal policy framework for the domestic carbon management industry. In this new chapter, we look forward to working together to advocate for high-impact, durable policies with Members of Congress and the administration under the banner of Carbon Capture Impact.”
