Ryan Edwards is the Director of Policy at Oxy, where he leads a team working to advance carbon management technology deployment in the U.S. and globally. His experience and research spans carbon management science, engineering, economics, and policy. Prior to joining Oxy, Ryan was an AAAS Congressional Science and Engineering Fellow in the U.S. Senate.
Ryan completed a Ph.D. in civil and environmental engineering at Princeton University, where he was also a fellow in the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs. His research focused on modeling geological carbon storage and economic analysis for CO2 capture and transport infrastructure systems. Ryan holds a B.E. in civil and environmental engineering and B.Sc. in geology from the University of Adelaide.
