The Carbon Capture Coalition submitted a statement for the record today for the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee hearing on federal offshore energy strategies and policies.
The statement outlines the safety and effectiveness of secure geologic storage of captured carbon dioxide (CO2) and its critical importance in realizing essential emissions reductions targets by midcentury.
